Circumnavigation

Explore  / ɪkˈsplɔr, -ˈsploʊr / to traverse or range over (a region, area, etc.) for the purpose of discovery.

Our Voyage started in April 2024
Join us as we continue our circumnavigation aboard Anna Sorgaard. Last summer we made our final cruise throughout the Mediterranean Sea which included Italy, Croatia, Greece and the Greek Islands, Sicily, Sardinia and finally back to Barcelona to join the festivities at the 37th America’s Cup. You can read the blogs we wrote along the voyage.

Our next venture will be to the Baltic Sea where we will cruise Sweden, Finland and Denmark along with stops in Gibraltar, Portugal, Netherlands and Germany along the way from Barcelona.  Anna will spend the winter months (Nov 2025 – April 2026) in Copenhagen at the old Turbourg beer factory that was redeveloped into a residential and retail destination with a marina where Anna will stay.

The current plan in 2026 is to take Anna back home to Norway (we bought her in Alesund in 2018) and will cruise up the west coast of Norway to the top and then on to Svalbard Island just because. The return will come back down Norway or may voyage to Jan Mayen island on the way to Iceland where Anna would rest until the spring of 2027 when we plan on taking her to North America and then onwards to the west.
